87 % of pupils achieved a GCSE Grade in one or more subjects.

• Over 1100 exam scripts and individual entries submitted this year.
• 85% achieved a grade in Mathematics.
• 81% achieved a grade in English Language.
• 75% achieved a grade in English Literature.
• 88% achieved a grade in Biology.
• 47% achieved a grade in Religious Studies GCSE long course.
• 100% achieved a grade in History.
• 100% achieved a grade in Physical Education.
• 76% of pupils achieved 5 secure GCSE grades.
• 90% average attendance rate over a 4-week exam period.
• 38 EHCP pupils successfully utilised access arrangements to sit their exams.
• 100% of attending EHCP pupils achieved GCSE grades.
• Our highest achiever is on the SEN register, with a history of behavioural issues & absenteeism prior to joining EdStart. They achieved 5 GCSE qualifications all at grade 4 or above.
• 27% of our total results were grade 4 or higher.
• 40 pupils achieved a pass or higher in their independent English Speaking & Listening externally moderated assessments.

• Post-16 destinations currently at 96% secure. All students have 3 secure pathways in place.

• Very pleased with results given, return to pre-pandemic grade boundaries. As a school we are maintaining our high GCSE awards in core and additional subjects.
